6 Details for Giving Helpful ASAP K-12 Homework Help

Updated January 11, 2024

Overview

K-12 questions are low-risk jobs that help achieve a basic income as we continue to offer college homework help services. StudyGate recommends video and drawings over text answers.

Similarities

K-12 questions are similar to college homework help in some ways. Both K-12 and college work are located in the same place, “Browse Questions.” You can still look at the student’s attachments to get an idea of what the student needs. But that’s where the similarities end.

Differences

K-12 questions are different than college homework help in most ways:

  • All K-12 answer urgencies are ASAP (as soon as possible). The student will expect you to message them with a basic delivery estimate and begin working immediately once you claim.
    • Attention: failure to message the student upon claim will result in loss of subject approval.
  • The work will generally be easier. All homework is USA high school level or less.
  • This work goes on claim designation only, no negotiation occurs to complete this work. Tutors will not be able to message the student before claiming.
  • K-12 questions are open to all tutors regardless of experience or subject level. Make sure you claim with confidence as there is no cancellation button.
    • Attention: failure to answer clearly will damage your account reputation.
  • Pay is 15¢ / question posted by the student.
  • There is a new metric to measure success for these kinds of questions: K-12 Success Rate
    • Students share whether the answer was helpful to update the metric just like other categories such as “Service as described” and “Recommended”
    • This metric starts out at 100% and appears on your tutor profile page
  • Questions autocomplete after 24 hours, there is no option to mark as delivered.
    • If the student adds work on your current flow, ask them to post a new question in order to receive payment.
    • If a student disputes your answer, there is no negotiation process. The matter will be immediately referred to StudyGate for review.
